newbie 60w
I have a merrow 60w (75040) that was my wifes, she was a professional seamstress and used this machine a lot, especially when she was doing inventory for her Reniassance Faire business. She died in a car wreck with my daughter in '99. The machine has been sitting idle in her studio since then. I am looking to sell this machine and get it back into the world doing its job. I know it was running fine in "99 and nothing has occured to it since. It was covered in the studio. I don't know how to run it, motor turns on but machine does not spin when motor is engaged. Is there some kind of lock, safety something or other that I need to manipulate to confirm that machine runs? Never ran any kind of sewing machine, got same problem with her Singer 241-12.! Help! Once I know every thing is good I'll get some pics and probably offer it for sale on this site, its very clean, on table.

If you'd like, we'd be more than happy to take a quick look at the machine, clean it up and make sure it's in great shape. If you'd cover the cost of shipping, we'll take care of the rest.
It'll be difficult to figure your way through it i think... likely some small adjustments need be made.
Send us some pictures, or ship the machine - we'll do our best to take care of it for you.

Ebay is probably as a good a place as any to sell it. I have bought several there. The market sort of dictates the price. Anyway you can look at whets available and it'll give you an idea what to ask.
